Baseball Almanac is pleased to present a comprehensive list of every Honorary Captain named to an All-Star squad, a practice started by Major League Baseball in 1975.

Honorary Captains without a link were not former Major League baseball players and we've put a small note next to them as an identifier.

The All-Star Game Honorary Captains list includes more than forty members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, seven former Major League players who are not in the Hall of Fame and one spouse of a Hall of Famer.
