Autograph Of The Week: Jackie Robinson

Baseball Almanac takes pride in presenting the Autograph of the Week column as more than a picture with a short story about a historical event. We believe it is a valuable collector's resource and authenticity can never be issue. Every autograph to date has been signed by the athlete named in front of the webmaster. We were not privileged to meet the great Jackie Robinson, but believe this letter from his wife is provenance.

"Baseball is like a poker game. Nobody wants to quit when he's losing; nobody wants you to quit when you're ahead." - Jackie Robinson
