Chicago Cubs Managers & Finishes
Key: (1) = Interim Mgr (2) = College of Coaches (3) = Served During a Suspension

The Chicago Cubs have had more hall of fame players manage their team than any other team in Major League history; and, did you know that each member of the legendary Tinkers-to-Evers-to-Chance trio managed the club?

During the 2007 season the Chicago Cubs had their largest attendance when 3,252,462 fans attended games at Wrigley Field — nearly 98% capacity at every home game. Prior to 1902 the Cubs franchise was known by the following officially recognized names (with links to each of their managerial analysis pages):

Chicago White Stockings Managers

1876-1889

Chicago Colts Managers

1890-1897

Chicago Orphans Managers

1898-1901

Chicago Cub Managers

1902-Today

In 1961 the Chicago Cubs took part in Wrigley's "College of Coaches" in which members of the coaching staff each took turns at the helm thus becoming officially recognized managers.
