All-Star Game Records : Team Hitting Records

The American League holds the All-Star record for consecutive scoreless innings when they failed to score in the last nine innings of the 1967 All-Star Game, all nine innings of the 1968 All-Star Game and the first inning of the 1969 All-Star Game.

On July 10, 1962, the National league pitchers hit two American League batters (Don Drysdale hit Rich Rollins and Bob Shaw hit Brooks Robinson) which is the most by one League / team during one All-Star Game.

Did you know that on July 11, 1944, the National league hitters had three sacrifice hits which was the most ever by one League during one All-Star Game until the American League tied the mark during the 1987 Midsummer Classic?
