During a post game interview Jim Bibby (who had played for both leagues) said, "It's easy now to draw lines between the leagues and say we're (the National League) definitely better." Do you agree? Is the senior circuit superior to the junior circuit? Share your opinion on Baseball Fever.

Did you know that this was the first and only Midsummer Classic ever played in Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California?

The players were polled by the New York Times to determine who they believed should be on the starting team and Steve Carlton & Paul Molitor finished first and second respectively, but neither player appeared in the game at all.
