Pete Rose was upset about the designated hitter not being used during the All-Star Game and said before the game, "I don't know why they don't use the DH. The pitchers never hit anyway." Do you agree or disagree with Rose? Should they use the DH in every All-Star Game? Share your opinion on Baseball Fever.

Did you know that the five players (Darryl Strawberry, Jose Cruz, Rickey Henderson, Dave Winfield, Damaso Garcia) who stole five bases during the 1985 All-Star Game set a new record for steals by both clubs during a Midsummer Classic?

The uniform worn by Lou Whitaker of the Detroit Tigers was purchased from a souvenir stand in the Metrodome. His equipment was left in the car he rode in and his "replica" shirt had a number one (1) drawn on it with a black marker.
