Autograph Of The Week: Pete Gray

This week marked the Major League debut for Pete Gray - a truly historic player. April 18, 1945, to be precise and he went 1-for-4 that day winning with the St. Louis Browns who outscored the Detroit Tigers 7-1.

Gray is truly a symbol of great courage. Pete Gray lost his right arm at the age of 6 and still became an outstanding outfielder. In 1944 he batted .333 in the Minor Leagues and made only 6 errors the entire season.
