On May 10, 1967, Hank Aaron was playing in a game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Jim Bunning left a fastball hanging over the plate and Aaron hit it deep into center field.
The outfield relay was thrown in hard, but Hank Aaron scored. This was Hank Aaron's first and ONLY inside the park home run and Baseball Almanac is honored to present his autograph!
"I don't want them (the fans) to forget (Babe) Ruth, I just want them to remember me." - Hall of Famer Hank Aaron (on hitting the record breaking career home run mark)
