Most Outstanding Player Award in College World Series

The Most Outstanding Player Award is announced at the completion of the College World Series Championship Game. Media representatives attending the men's College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska vote on the Most Outstanding Player beginning in the fifth inning and closing by the eighth inning.

"I thought it went well. Unfortunately it wasn't quite enough for us, and this is about the team. We come back through the losers' bracket and play well, get to the championship game, but this is disappointing. I thought we battled and played our hearts out, but we'll move on." - John Hudgins (2003 Most Outstanding Player Award Winner) in CWS Notebook (CNNSI.com, June 24, 2003)
