Major League Baseball Player Throwing Arm Chart

During the first Major League season (1876) there were ninety-seven right handed Major League ballplayers and ten left handed Major League players. Those inaugural lefties were Bob Addy, John Cassidy, Jimmy Hallinan, Bill Harbridge, Fergy Malone, John Mullen, Lip Pike, Billy Redmon, Joe Start & Oscar Walker.

The four players officially listed by Major League Baseball as being able to officially throw both left & right handed are: Tony Mullane (1881-1894), George Wheeler (1896-1899), Moxie Manuel (1905-1908) & Greg Harris (1981-1995). If you enjoy these unusual facts / charts read through these:
