Alvernia College Baseball Players Who Made it to the Major Leagues

Alvernia College MLB Player Alumnus



The Alvernia College baseball program started in 1990 and Wade Miller was their first player to make it to the Major League level.

The entire 1991 Crusaders baseball team was inducted into the Alvernia College Hall of Fame in 2009. They had finished the 1991 season with a 30-9 record, 10-1 in NAIA District 19 play and 3-0 in the District 19 playoffs. They had a .318 team batting average, scored 356 runs, had 405 base hits including 33 home runs. They were also the first Alvernia College team to win an NAIA District 19 title and advance to the NAIA regional tournament.
