The Brown University baseball program started in 1863 and Bill White was their first player to make it to the Major League level. Also of note is there eleventh player, Henry Summersgill, who played in the major leagues earlier in his life using the name Andy Sommerville. Names that appear on the chart above in bold print are in the Brown University Hall of Fame.
