In 1995 Buena Vista College changed their name to Buena Vista University. No player from the newly renamed era have yet to make it to the show, but once they do we'll start a section on this page for them. Why the distinction? Baseball Almanac believes it is important to record the proper college name that the player attended to ensure their legacy is accurate.
