The Lafayette College baseball program started in 1865 and George Barclay was their first player to make it to the Major League level.

Jeff Mutis, the last player from Lafayette College to break into the bigs, played four seasons & had three at-bats during his Major League career:May 6, 1994, June 18, 1994 and July 31, 1994 (his final game).
