Loyola Marymount University retired three uniform numbers on March 11, 2000. They were retired not just because of their athletic skill, but due also to the way they represented Loyala with "dignity and pride." The three honorees were Bill Bean (#44), Tim Layana (#54) and non-major leaguer Jerry Stone (#10).
