Northern Kentucky University M.L.B. Player Alumnus

The Northern Kentucky University baseball program started in 1972 and Chris Hook was their first player to make it to the Major League level.

Neither former player has hit a Major League home run, but on April 30, 1995, Hook became the first former Norse player to give up a Major League home run when Mario Diaz of the Florida Marlins went deep against him in the fifth inning.

Did you know that there are four former Northern Kentucky University players who made it to the show? Send corrections or updates to Baseball Almanac.
