Pepperdine University's baseball program started in 1939 and Gail Hopkins was their first player to make it to the Major League level. Names that appear on the chart above in bold print are in the Pepperdine University Hall of Fame.

The Pepperdine Waves have appeared in twenty (20) NCAA Championship Series (1955, 1957, 1960, 1974-1976, 1979, 1982, 1985-1989, 1991-1993, 1995, 1999, 2001 & 2003) during their relatively short baseball history and in 1992 finally won the Series.

Did you know that there are thirty (30) former Pepperdine University players who made it to "the show"? Send corrections or updates to Baseball Almanac.
