Pfeiffer University M.L.B. Player Alumnus

The Pfeiffer University baseball program started in 1960 and Barry Moore was their first player to make it to the Major League level. Monty Montgomery appears above in bold print because he is enshrined in the Falcons Hall of Fame (link).

Pfeiffer College was their name from 1960 (prior to that they were Pfeiffer Junior College) up through 1995 when they achieved university status - thus every player who is listed above has their school name listed on their player page as Pfeiffer College rather than Pfeiffer University.

Did you know that there are four former Pfeiffer University players who made it to the show? Send corrections or updates to Baseball Almanac.
