University of New Hampshire Baseball Players Who Made it to the Major Leagues

Baseball Almanac is pleased to present a comprehensive chart of every University of New Hampshire alumnus who played baseball at the University of New Hampshire AND made it to the Major League level.

"You can sit around and compare ballparks all you want, but no park in baseball compares to Fenway. If you want to see a baseball game, that's a generic term, and have a chance to see everything that baseball can provide then Fenway is the place to see it." - Carlton Fisk on Save Fenway Park! University of New Hampshire M.L.B. Player Alumnus

The University of New Hampshire baseball program started in 1911 and Del Bissonette was their first player to make it to the Major League level.

Two (2) other former major league players attended the University of New Hampshire, but did not play while taking classes. They were Birdie Tebbetts (who did play at Providence College for four years) & Art Kenney. Rich Gale might be the last Wildcat turned major league player as the school stopped its baseball program in 1997.

Did you know that there are five (5) former University of New Hampshire players who made it to "the show"? Send corrections or updates to Baseball Almanac.
