Did you know that Adam Dunn had committed to play football for the University of Texas while in High School? The Cincinnati Reds, who drafted him 50th overall, agreed to a deal which allowed Dunn to play minor league baseball during the summer and return to Texas in August to play football. Dunn redshirted his freshman season, was asked to move to the tight end position his second year, but decided against it and left Texas to concentrate on baseball.
