The West Chester baseball program started in 1912 and Henry Baldwin was their first player to make it to the Major League level.
The quote at the top of the page about John Mabry is a "nice one", but the quote made by Seattle Mariners General Manager Pat Gillick is even nicer, "John can fill a variety of roles for us. He is the left-handed bat off the bench that we had been looking for and his ability to play the corner infield and corner outfield spots will give our manager some options. In addition, John fits in nicely with our clubhouse, as he was extremely well-liked by everyone when he was here before."
