League By League Slugging Averages

Did you know that the record for the highest slugging average in the American League during the regular season was .445, set in 1996, and in the National League it was .432, set in 2000? Too easy?

Did you know that the record for the lowest slugging average in the American League during the regular season was .304, set in 1908, and in the National League it was .306, set in 1908? Still too easy?

During the 1960 season, the two leagues were seperated by only .0036. However, this is not the record. The closest the two leagues ever came was in 1969 when the leagues were seperated by .0030.
