Single Season Leaders for Times on Base

Who has been on base most often during a season? Some of the single season leaders may surprise you, some might not. Baseball Almanac is pleased to present a chart that illustrates the top one-hundred (100) all time single season leaders for times on base. Note: A bold faced entry denotes that the player was active during the previous Major League season.

"In one of his final Major League games, he (Babe Ruth) crushed three homers in Pittsburgh. On the final trip around the bases, the Babe tipped his cap to the somber crowd of 10,000 at Forbes Field. That home run would be number 714, the last of his amazing career." - Babe Ruth Biography on BabeRuth.com (The House That Ruth Built)
