Other players who appeared in a Little League World Series, became a Major League ballplayer, but did not make it into a Fall Classic are: Wilson Alvarez, Larvell Blanks, Bill Connors, Ken Hubbs, Keith Lampard, Vance Lovelace, Lloyd McClendon, Jim Pankovits, Marc Pisciotta, Carl Taylor, Hector Torres & Dan Wilson.

Did you know that only two Major League players have appeared in a Little League / College / and Major League Series? Those players are Ed Vosberg, who participated in the Little League World Series (Tucson, Arizona, 1973, Runner-Up), College World Series (University of Arizona, Champions, 1980) and the 1997 World Series; and Jason Varitek who participated in the Little League World Series (Altamonte Springs, Florida, 1984), College World Series (Georgia Institute of Technology, Runner-Up, 1994) and the 2004 World Series.

None of the following former Little League players appeared in the Little League World Series, but they are the only former little leaguers who are also members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame: George Brett, Steve Carlton, Rollie Fingers, Catfish Hunter, Jim Palmer, Nolan Ryan, Mike Schmidt, Tom Seaver, Don Sutton, Carl Yastrzemski & Robin Yount.
