Cincinnati Reds Managers & Finishes



The Cincinnati Reds franchise, who became the Redlegs from 1953 through 1958 (click here for their managers) then the Reds again in 1959 (click here for their managers), had two of the fifteen hall of fame managers (Ned Hanlon and Bill McKechnie) at their helm and another five hall of fame players manage their team.

During the 1976 season the Cincinnati Reds (as a franchise) had their largest attendance when 2,629,708 fans attended games at Riverfront Stadium.

Sparky Anderson finished first five times, second three times, won over eight-hundred games with the Cincinnati Reds and was finally inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.
