St. Louis Browns Managers & Finishes

Following the 1898 season, the franchise changed their name to the St. Louis Perfectos and won more games than they lost for the first time in team history.

Why did they suddenly win? Pehaps it was because the Perfectos also changed the name of the park they played in from Sportsman's Park to League Park?

Other changes for the franchise included new red socks (they were brown before) and two future hall of famers on their rosters: Jesse Burkett and Cy Young.
