About The Professional Baseball Player Statistical Database (1920-1945)
 
The database contains year-by-year records for major and minor league players between 1920 and 1945. Every player who is listed in the Official Baseball Guides for those seasons is included, and many who were omitted from the Guides because of limited playing time have been researched and added to the database. In addition, a number of professional leagues whose statistics were not included in the Guides have been added (please see the Contents page for complete league listing).
 
This full-featured software program includes:
    1.  Batting statistics (G, R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, BB, SO, SB, CS, HP, Sac, BA, OBP, SLG, OBS ) for each position player as listed in the Guides or other sources.

    2.  Pitching statistics (G, GS, CG, IP, H, R, ER, SO, BB, SHO, HR, HP, WP, W-L, SV, ERA, WHIP)

    3.  Games played by position for each player.

 
The program enables users to search and sort information in a variety of ways. Players may be listed alphabetically, ranked by statistical categories, or sorted by career, team, league, or farm system. 'The database contains complete sortable and printable statistics for each major league team and its affiliates.
