Casey Stengel once said, "You could look it up." This comprehensive baseball players section here at Baseball Almanac allows you to do just that — look it up, as in every baseball player in Major League Baseball history!
Our baseball player "stat" pages go beyond the stats — we like to think of them as online baseball cards. Included in each alphabetical section is an easy-to-use list that leads you to a player's year-by-year statistics, career statistics, uniform numbers, salaries, biographies and literally millions of historical baseball facts.
"There are three types of baseball players: those who make things happen, those who watch it happen, and those who wonder what happens." - Lasorda, Tommy. Hall of Fame Manager. The Artful Dodger. Lasorda, Tommy. Author. Arbor House Publishing. 1 April 1985. Page 330. [Tommy Lasorda Quotes]
