Jackie Robinson Negro League Statistics

Jackie Robinson only played one season in the Negro Leagues before he was brought into the Major Leagues by Branch Rickey on April 15, 1947.

Robinson's talent as an athlete was exceptional and he proved it when he played shortstop with the Kansas City Monarchs yet became a star with the Brooklyn Dodgers at first base, second base and third base.
