Jackie Robinson only played one (1) season in the Negro Leagues before he was brought into the Major Leagues by Branch Rickey on April 15, 1947.

Robinson's talent as an athlete was exceptional and he proved it when he played shortstop with the Kansas City Monarchs yet was a star with the Brooklyn Dodgres at first base, second base and third base.
