"He throws as hard as almost anyone," said General Manager Dave Dombrowski, who signed Corbin, 31, two days after he was released by San Diego in May. "He throws hard and they don't hit him," Boles said of Corbin, who has allowed a .154 batting average in eight appearances this spring after leading International League relievers with a .153 average allowed at Charlotte.
