Baseball Almanac Top Quote

"He's (George Gerberman) got the best control in the Texas League and he's a fantastic competitor. He's got a great knuckleball and added a slider this year. Another that that helped was a regular schedule. Before this season, he'd relieve some and start some. He never knew what he was going to do. Now he's a starter, period, and on a regular rotation." - Kittle, Hub. Manager of the Fort Worth Spurs. Fort Worth Star-Telegram. 12 June 1968. Section C - Page One.
