George Gerberman played baseball professionally in the minor leagues for eight years, taking the field with the Wellsville Braves (1961), Wenatchee Chiefs (1962, 1964), Amarillo Gold Sox (1963, 1965-1967), Fort Worth Cats (1964), and Dallas-Fort Worth Spurs (1965, 1968). He took the mound in two-hundred sixty-six games, threw sixty-one complete games, struck out nine-hundred forty-one batters, and ended his career with a 4.00 earned run average.
