"I want to get back to being the predominant three-hole hitter on this team I know I can be, carrying this team like I know I can. But I know it's something I have to earn back. He's (Josh Donaldson) done a heck of a job there. I wouldn't say I'm comfortable I'm in the seven-, eight-hole, but I'm not going to be upset if I'm in there right now. Maybe I can get back to being the five- or six-hole guy. Not just sometimes, but all the time. We're still winning games, and that's all I care about." - Reddick, Josh. Back on upswing, 'everything feels right. Lee, Jane. MLB Staff Writer. 1 May 2014.

Josh Reddick: Post Game Press Conference Comments
"The confidence is definitely there right now, especially the way I've swung the bat the last two days. I'm going into the batter's box a lot more comfortable and feeling like they can't get me out right now.
"It's kind of unbelievable. Constant work is finally paying off, watching video is finally paying off. Hopefully this is something I can stick with and continue doing it for the rest of the year."
Josh Reddick Video | Must C Catch | 25 July 2012
After seeing Josh Reddick make the catch in the video above, on July 25, 2012, Jonny Gomes said, "Freakin' awesome. You're winning ballgames and you're having fun, but it just seems like something like that happens every night to where it's keeping everyone in here loose. It's just a tribute to playing the game right and playing the game hard. How many guys are going to play that off the wall?" That, along with several other "Must C" catches, helped Reddick earn a Gold Glove Award in 2012, the first by an A's outfielder since Dwayne Murphy won in 1985.
