Team Based Balk Records

Balk records set by the team. One of the more difficult rules to completely grasp and a record book section no team really wants to belong in.

Remove the National League record set in May, and every record on this page was set during the same week and month of play!

On May 4, 1963, Milwaukee set two team records. Their starting pitcher, Bob Shaw, also set a single pitcher balk record that same day.

The least amount of balks by all of the teams combined in a single league is thirteen. This occurred in the National League in 1936, 1946, and 1956.
