More than fifteen National League shortstops have turned five double plays in a 9-inning game. The last to do so was David Eckstein of the St. Louis Cardinals on August 18, 2005.

Did you know that on August 4, 1911, Lee Tannehill of Chicago (AL) became the first and only shortstop to ever have two unassisted double plays in a single game.
