Did you know that more than eighty (80) years have passed since the last Major League triple-header? It was played on October 2, 1920, and featured Pittsburgh versus Cincinnati.

During the 1904 season, the St. Louis Browns came to play against the Detroit Tigers at Bennett Park and stayed for eleven (11) consecutive games — an entire regular season homestand against one team at the same time.

Imagine for a moment being part of the 1928 Boston Braves and playing in nine (9) consecutive doubleheaders. In 2004 the Anaheim Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers played zero doubleheaders during the entire site — nevertheless one set of consecutive doubleheaders.
