Most Home Run in an Inning Records

Baseball Almanac is pleased to present a record book full of baseball milestones for home runs in an inning — including most in any given inning and most in any extra inning.

Did you know that Alex Rodriguez is the only American League player in history to hit two home runs in the same inning twice in his career?

Andre Dawson, Jeff King and Willie McCovey are part of a unique club as all three National League sluggers hit two home runs in the same inning of the same game twice during their career.

Only five players, in five different instances, have hit more than one home run after the 9th inning and they are listed up above - click the box score of each to see if those were winning efforts or losing efforts.
