Single game records are still too large to list, but Randy Johnson secured his spot in the record book when he struck out twenty batters in nine innings on May 8, 2001!

On July 4, 1999, the Arizona Diamondbacks scored a club record seventeen runs. On July 27, 2000 they tied the record and on April 17, 2001 they tied the record once again. However, did you know that their opponent in ALL three record setting games was the St. Louis Cardinals?
