This 1957 World Series Game Seven victory gave the Milwaukee Braves their first World Series Championship!

In the bottom of the ninth inning the Yankees loaded the bases on three singles mixed in with two outs. With Bill Skowron at the plate it was an exciting moment, but his grounder was caught by Eddie Mathews who stepped on the bag and retired the runner for the final out!

On May 26, 1959, Lew Burdette took part in what many experts believe is the greatest pitched game in major league history. Harvey Haddix pitched twelve perfect innings yet Lew Burdette won the game 1-0!
