The Pepperdine University baseball program started in 1939. Don Carlsen was the first former Wave to make it to the major leagues. Names that appear on the chart above in bold print are in the Pepperdine University Hall of Fame.
The Pepperdine Waves have appeared in 20 NCAA Championship Series (1955, 1957, 1960, 1974-1976, 1979, 1982, 1985-1989, 1991-1993, 1995, 1999, 2001, 2003) during their relatively short baseball history and in 1992 finally won the Series.
