Did you know that when Dante Bichette won a Silver Slugger Award in 1995, along with fellow outfielders Tony Gwynn and Sammy Sosa, he became the first-of-two Colorado Rockies to ever receive a Silver Slugger at any position? Do you remember what Rockie third baseman also won that year? [Answer]
Did you know Dante Bichette, also in 1995, led every National League slugger in home runs (Top 25), which also made him the first Colorado player to lead the league in home runs?
Did you know Dante Bichette, the year after being a home run champion (1996), only hit thirty-one home runs, but also swiped thirty-one bases, joining the incredibly elite 30-30 Club (Players Who Have Hit 30-or-more Home Runs AND Stolen 30-or-more Bases in a Season)?

Dante Bichette Hits for the Cycle | The Los Angeles Times | 11 June 1998 | Page C10Baseball Almanac Research Library
On June 10, 1998, Dante Bichette grounded out in the first frame, and once again in the third inning. Not a great start, but in the fourth he collected a double. In the sixth, he homered. Then in the ninth, he hit a lead-off triple and scored, tying the game, and sending it to extra innings. Needing only a single to hit for the cycle, he only waited one inning, hitting it with a man on third! A walk-off, extra inning single, to complete the first cycle in Rockies' history!
