Baseball Almanac Top Quote

"I don't feel like I've done anything near what I'm capable of the last couple of years. They've both been kind of a grind. The numbers have been OK, I would say, but I don't think the last two seasons is half of the player that I am. I truly don't believe that. I've always hit a single up the middle or a double in the gap, which is great, but that's not what I want. There's more in the tank. I think getting a lot stronger this offseason is going to help, that and being able to get the ball in the air more naturally. If you take ten or fifteen of those doubles and turn them into homers, the power numbers are going to be decent. I hit the ball hard, but I couldn't hit the ball in the air the right way, so it was tough to hit home runs, but I'm learning. I'm learning every day." - Brandon Drury (Miller, Randy.
