Did you know that his nickname, Sir Didi, was given to him after he played in the 2011 Baseball World Cup? The Dutch national baseball team beat Cuba in the finals and instead of taking prize money, they were awarded the Order of Orange-Nassau — a Dutch order of chivalry given to those who earned special merits for society. That makes Gregorius a fifth class Knight in the Netherlands, or Sir Didi!
