Did you know that Ubaldo Jimenez pitched the first no-hitter in Colorado Rockies history, shutting down the Atlanta Braves 4-0 at Turner Field on April 17, 2010? Jimenez then won the Pitcher of the Month Award in the National League after going 5-0, with a 0.71 ERA, and the no-no in April. The first half of 2010 continued to be amazing for Jimenez who was the first 6-game winner in the majors, then 8-1 with a 0.99 ERA after 9 starts (two major leaguers had won 8 of their first nine starts with an ERA under 1 since 1962: Juan Marichal in 1966 and Fernando Valenzuela in 1981), then 13-1 (matching Roger Clemens for the best start by any hurler since Lefty Gomez in 1932), then 15-1 before the 2010 All-Star Game - the best mark by any pitcher with 15+ decisions, breaking Don Newcombe's record of 14-1 in 1955.
