Doubles Team Records

From 1916 to 1923, the Cleveland Indians led the league in doubles which is the most consecutive years by any club in Major League history.

On August 25, 1936, Boston (NL) hit seven doubles against St. Louis in the first inning which is the most ever hit in a single inning by one team. The American League record was set on June 9, 1934, when Washington had six versus Boston in the eighth inning then tied by Texas on July 31, 2002, versus New York in the first inning.

The Washington Senators hit five consecutive doubles on June 9, 1934, against the Boston Red Sox in the eighth inning — the most ever hit back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back during the same inning.
