The Southern University baseball program started in 1959. Lou Brock was the first former Jaguar to make it to the Major League level.
Southern University was founded in 1880 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The team plays home games at Lee-Hines Field, wears blue & gold and has won twenty-four SWAC titles.
