"It (his changeup) just looks really similar to his fastball, probably more than most guys. It's really hard to tell. His willingness to attack the zone is probably the most important thing. You have to trust your stuff and attack the zone, because Major League hitters are going to feel you out and see what you have. He did a great job." - Higashioka, Kyle. New York Yankees Catcher. Post Game Press Conference. Yankees Stadium. 2 April 2023.

Jhony Rafael Brito (Feliz) is an active Major League Baseball player who pitches for the New York Yankees (2023-Today). Brito was originally signed as amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic, for $35,000, on November 9, 2015. His scouting report:
"When I saw Brito he threw 94-96 with a real good changeup. He's a skinny kid with a good arm. I made him a number three starter. He's already had Tommy John. Right now I see him as a number four starter, but if things change and the curveball and the cutter come along, then it's an outside chance of number three starter, but he's definitely a four starter. I liked what I saw."
During the post game press conference, after his big league debut, Aaron Boone, manager of the New York Yankees, said, "He kept pounding the strike zone. It was more of what we've seen. He was very at ease out there, very comfortable. It's just a really good performance, and an important performance for us when we needed a little bit of length."
The "little bit of length" he was referring to was five scoreless innings, making Brito the fourth Bronx Bomber in the previous seventy-five years to pitch five-or-more scoreless innings during their Major League debut! Those who preceded Brito were; Sam Militello (1992), Jonathan Loáisiga (2018), and Luis Gil (2021).
