Frank Slocum Big B.A.T. Award

The Baseball Assistance Team is, in our opinion, probably one of the most succesful, most caring, most sharing, well organized supports groups in existence. Visit their official site and consider helping them help others.

Frank Slocum was an executive with Major League Baseball and the Executive Director of the Baseball Assistant Team. After he passed away in 1997, B.A.T. named the award seen above in his honor. Frank's father, Bill Slocum has an award (the Slocum Award) named in his honor as well!

Did you know that Sean Casey, who won in 2007, was the first active Major League ball player in history to win a B.A.T. Award?
