Only three people have won the Good Guy Award more than once, Clubhouse Manager Cy Buynak (1977 & 1993), designated hitter Andre Thornton (1984 & 1987) and bullpen coach Luis Isaac (1998 & 2008).
In 1971 Hank Peters won the award serving in capacity as the Vice President / Player Personnel for the Cleveland Indians and in 1975 Peters became the sixth president of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues.
