"I'll remember this (losing a no-hitter in the ninth inning / July 13, 2001) the rest of my life. It's probably the most excitement I've ever felt on a baseball field. The way the crowd was reacting and the way the game was going, I was getting chills at times." - Ritchie, Todd. Ritchie Doesn’t Fold as No-Hitter Fizzles. Associated Press Wire Services. 14 July 2001.
