Runs Batted In Team Records

On May 17, 1979, the Philadelphia Phillies (twenty-three RBIs) played the Chicago Cubs (twenty-two RBIs) in a ten inning game where forty-five runs were batted in setting the record for most runs batted in during any extra inning game.

Did you know that on September 11, 1946, the Cincinnati Reds (zero RBIs) played the Brooklyn Dodgers (zero RBIs) in a nineteen inning game where no runs were batted in by either team making this the longest game in Major League history without a run batted in by either club?

Two tough days in a row: June 7, 1950 and June 8, 1950, the Boston Red Sox had forty-nine runs batted in (twenty and twenty-nine) against the St. Louis Browns which is the most ever in two consecutive games.
